- Using Padlet for Collaboration and Expression Through Culture and Technology
This workshop will assist classroom teachers by providing an overview of Padlet, a free online tool that helps students to organize and express their ideas in a visual format. The presenter will be focusing on Padlet's social media and collaboration features.

An advocate for learning through technology, Jordan encourages others to use media to inspire, create. and connect. Jordan is a group leader at Brothers on the Rise, where he works with young boys and men of color in East Oakland, supporting them on leadership, literacy, and manhood training. In addition to providing direct services, he facilitates trainings and workshops on gender and culturally responsive teaching. With the support of instructors and colleagues in USF’s School of Education DTTL program, he incorporates culture, learning theories, and current technology in his work.
