Assistive Technology for Education
The term assistive technology (AT) refers to any device or technology that is used to enhance learning for students with disabilities, including physical challenges and intellectual disabilities. AT includes—but is not limited to—simple adaptive tools like organizers, technology such as speech-to-text software, audio players and recorders, FM listening systems, and word prediction software. In this workshop you will learn how to use AT to help students with special needs succeed in your classroom.
