Blended Learning Bootcamp: A Classroom Simulation
In this workshop, participants will experience what it feels like to learn within a Blended Learning platform that uses the Station-Rotation model. Participants will develop an understanding of the model and its components through a classroom simulation that includes face-to-face instruction, independent and collaborative practice, and online learning activities utilizing iPads and various apps.

Christina Jung Christina is currently serving in a hybrid position as an elementary school teacher and assistant principal at the Diocese of San Jose. Prior to teaching in San Jose, she worked in San Francisco Unified School District for more than a decade teaching various grade levels, spanning pre-K to fifth grade. Her research interests include equity and access in urban communities, integrating digital instruction into the classroom through blended learning, and developing community-wide partnerships to address gaps created in public education impacting youth of color. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies, a MA in Educational Administration, a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential (CLAD) with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, and an Administrative Services Credential from San Francisco State University. Christina is currently a doctoral candidate in the Organization and Leadership program with a concentration in Digital Technologies in Teaching and Learning at the University of San Francisco. She is also a an active participant enrolled in the Academy of Blended Learning at Santa Clara University. |
